Welcome to the North Eastern Christmas Tree Research Alliance Information Page

The Alliance is a registered society, and acts as a coordinating structure to enable collaboration and mutual support for real, natural Christmas tree production researchers and growers.  We generally service the northeastern region of North America – obvious from the name, but do have participation from regions further abroad.  This is fantastic, we are simply atempting to increase knowledge sharing and industry support. 

Actual members are growers, our scientists and support specialists are  “scientific advisors”.  Currently the Alliance is set up with zero based funding and receives basic support (registration,meeting expenses) from the Christmas Trees Atlantic Association.  Anyone associated with our various affiliated state or provincial Christmas tree associations can be a member, simply reach out to our office through our email contact,  ctreealliance@gmail.com    We are examiing potential funding streams to help support research projects.

NECTRA has initiated a Bulletin designed to assist crop management information dissemination.  These Bulletins are  available to all, and we encourage state or provincial associations to circulate our Bulletins to their membership.  Our Bulletins appear below.
